me too, i'd like to share with you guys some photos of how we celebrated our anniversary
climb to Gunung Panti, JB 1. and thus the journey begins  2. five minutes later... break. haha  3. thanks to these guys for the push whenever we feel like giving up, which was like every 10minutes  4. okay moving on  5. the easiest part of the trail  6. break again hehe  7. franco our sweeper, i.e. the last person on the trail, makes sure no one gets left behind (or runs back to sg crying)  8. you know it  thanks to the veteran climbers (madz, anna, sky, mike, franco, mems, mikko, john) for being patient enough to wait for us catch our breaths  9. the last part of the climb before reaching the top, a vertical wall of boulders about 2-4 stories high with only ropes and humongous roots as support. easy enough, that's if you don't have 3 bottles of 1.5L of water on your backpack (which you have been carrying for 4 hours uphill)   at the summit... 10. jay making sure his wife knows he's safe  11. madz cooking dinner. sinigang! on top of the mountain! and adobo of mikko  12. bon appetit!  13. on our way down  14. almost there jay  15. chie with his ready-for-a-photo-op-bright-colors-outfit  16. the kagat-labi technique of climbing down a cliff  17. matanglawin  18. at last, a cold bath! and from a falls no less  again, thanks to mike, madz and anna for organizing this trip. it was well-planned and thought out (they even gave printed itineraries/to-bring list and free plastic bags during the briefing). of course to franco, mikko, mems, john, sky for their push. and for us first time climbers - jp, eric, chie and papa jay, we've made it! next stop daw, kk. may God help us all i apologize for the long post. salamat sa silip --------------------  |
