When and how did you start photography?
- I started when I got myself a Sunplus Spca533 PnS cam. From there it just a matter of upgrades until the DSLR and EVIL camera I am currently using as of now.
Tell us more about your photography history
- I started using PnS just to shoot random stuff. From there I started to notice my snapshots are really not up to scratch compared to those I saw from NatGeo, so I do research in Google and discovered bokeh.
Basic body and lens setup (name just one body and one lens that you always use)
- For now, I always use my Panasonic G1 with the kitlens 14-45mm (28-90mm 35mm FOV equivalent)
Would you consider turning pro?
- If pro means getting paid, then why not? I can use some funds to buy more gears.

This was my 1st photoshoot with PinoyCSers. It is not good, but I liked it. I have so many versions of it saved on my HDD.

Do you have a visual on a dream image you want to capture?
- A photoshoot with Sativa Rose or Maria Ozawa.
Name one non-electric camera gear that you cannot live without.
- Lens cleaning cloth - I also use it to clean my glasses (specs lah), monitor & cellphone (handphone lah).
Approximately, how many gb of photos do you have to date?
- 225GB
Ever experienced an embarrassing moment related to photography?
- One day, at pinoy Idol event, I tried to take a snapshot and my cam froze. It turns out I had it on timer mode, 12 sec.
Where can we see your portfolio?
- In my flickr site (http://www.flickr.com/photos/ozarth/)
How did you found out PinoyCSers?
- I was at istorya forums posting pics of the NDP practice and Vergil Cola recognized it. He then told me about PinoyCsers.
Give readers one tip to capture great photos.
-
Shoot JPGs so that you will learn about proper camera settings and stuff.
Shoot RAW so that you can adjust the exposure, white balance and what not during post.
How about having the best of both? Memory cards and HDD are cheap nowadays. smile.gif
I say shoot RAW + JPG. You master your cam by using JPGs and correct your mistakes using your RAW files.
